How to Find and Land Your Dream Associateship
By Dr. Tony Schicktanz, DDS
This book is a result of Dr. Schick’s passion to help recently graduated dentists who are now in the same position he was once in. Dr. Schick quickly realized after graduating from dental school that there were many important aspects of a dental career that were not taught in school. This book serves as a guide for those dentists, helping them decide between private practice and corporate dental settings, find the best associateship and successfully secure their dream position. Additionally, readers will learn how to review and negotiate their associate agreements.
Associate dentist compensation calculators
As I wrote in my book “How to Land Your Dream Dental Associateship,” comparing dental associate offers isn’t as simple as looking at the base salary. Many associates focus solely on the percentage or daily rate while overlooking the significant value that benefits add to their total compensation.
This calculator will help you:
1: Assign monetary values to each benefit in your compensation package
2: Compare multiple offers on an equal playing field
3: Make informed decisions based on total compensation rather than just base salary
4: Identify which benefits matter most to your specific situation
